I’m Vitaly (Vit) Shidlovskiy — a senior product leader with 20+ years in payments and fintech.
I currently lead BOSS Money at IDT, a money transfer app serving diaspora communities. Before product leadership, I was a C++ developer, and that engineering background shapes how I think about systems, constraints, and tradeoffs.
What I’m focused on
I’m deep into AI-native product development — not AI as a feature bolted onto existing products, but rethinking how products should work when AI is a foundational capability. My current areas:
- Agentic systems in production — coding pipelines, shadow monitoring agents, MCP integrations
- AI in regulated industries — compliance automation, AML/SAR detection, building trust in AI decisions where regulators are watching
- AI-native product thinking — how product development changes when you design for AI from the start
Background
I’ve spent my career at the intersection of money movement and technology — payments, remittances, mobile money, fintech infrastructure. I’ve shipped products across multiple geographies and regulatory environments.
I’m working toward an AI PM role at a company pushing the frontier of applied AI.
